Call for Applications: AfCFTA Startup Acceleration & Partnership Program 2026

The African Continental Free Trade Area Secretariat, in partnership with the Korea Africa Foundation, has officially launched the AfCFTA Startup Acceleration & Partnership Program 2026. This flagship initiative aims to empower innovative African startups by helping them scale operations, strengthen innovation capacity, and access global markets.

The programme aligns with the broader vision of the African Continental Free Trade Area to build a unified African market that promotes trade, industrialisation, and sustainable economic growth.

Why This Programme Matters

The initiative supports African startups through mentorship, investment opportunities, market expansion support, and international partnerships designed to accelerate business growth.

Eligible startups must demonstrate innovative and scalable business models, strong commercial potential, and readiness for international expansion. Priority sectors include fintech, e-commerce, logistics, agri-tech, manufacturing, and digital platforms.

Selected participants will benefit from mentorship, market readiness training, strategic advisory services, investor networking opportunities, and exposure to Korean and global business ecosystems.

Applications officially open on 24 May 2026. Interested startups should prepare strong business documentation to improve their chances of selection.
