URA Internship Program 2026

Uganda Revenue Authority invites applications for internship opportunities for July and August 2026.

The Uganda Revenue Authority (URA) has officially announced its Internship Program 2026, inviting eligible students to apply for internship opportunities scheduled for July and August 2026. The program aims to equip students with practical workplace experience while exposing them to the operations of one of Uganda’s key government institutions.

According to the announcement, applicants must be pursuing academic disciplines related to URA’s functional areas, including Accounting & Finance, Economics, Procurement & Supply Chain Management, Taxation, Law, Information Technology, Human Resource Management, Records & Archives Management, Communications, and Project Planning.

URA is offering a total of 286 internship vacancies, with 84 placements available in upcountry stations. Applicants interested in upcountry placements are encouraged to indicate their preferred district during the application process.

The authority emphasized that all applications must be submitted online through the official URA careers portal, as physical applications will not be accepted.
